Sindh Government affiliated, National Institute of Child Health, Pakistan (claimed to be the first in the country to do so), started Newborn screening for thyroid deficiency. Project got started in January 2020 and are able to screen more than 65,000 newborns for screening Congenital Hypothyroidism from 15 districts.
